Jane Maslonik began her career with Encompass Health Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1995. She has her bachelor’s of science from Penn State University and her master’s in food and nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She began her career as a registered dietitian but has since furthered her education in diabetic care and now holds certifications as both a certified diabetic care and education specialist as well as board certified in advanced diabetic management.
She is one of the coordinators for Encompass Health Altoona’s Joint Commission Advanced Certified Diabetic Program overseeing all of the hospital’s patients needing diabetic care and education. She is also an adjunct professor for the nursing department at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania.
