BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — HealthSouth Corporation (NYSE: HLS) today announced it has commenced a public offering of $300 million of senior notes through a re-opening of its 5.75% senior notes due 2024. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering along with cash on hand to repay certain borrowings under its senior secured credit facility previously used to fund the acquisition of Encompass Home Health and Hospice on December 31, 2014.
