Troy DeDecker

Troy DeDecker is president of the central region, in which he oversees operations of Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in nine states. DeDecker joined Encompass Health in January 2013 as the chief executive officer of Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. Prior to his career at Encompass Health, he served as chief executive officer at HMA-Bartow Regional Medical Center and in a number of operations and clinical leadership roles for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). DeDecker achieved an undergraduate degree in physical therapy from the University of North Florida and a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a board member for the University of Kansas Health Policy Management Advisory Board.
