Melanie Lewis

Melanie Lewis began her career at Encompass Health in 1994 and was promoted to senior vice president and chief business development officer in August 2021. Prior to joining Encompass Health, she served as a vice president of development for the ambulatory surgery division of HCA and as a district hospital representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Lewis is a graduate of the Momentum Executive Leadership Program, was selected as a 2023 ‘Top Birmingham Women’ honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal and serves in the 2024 class of Leadership Birmingham. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Webster University in St. Louis.
