Dawn Rock has served as the senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Encompass Health since July 2015. Prior to joining Encompass Health, she served as vice president of regional compliance for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia. Her leadership experience also includes serving as vice president of regulatory affairs and compliance for Centene Corporation/Peach State Health Plan. Rock holds a Juris Doctor with a certification in health law from the University of Maryland School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in social work from University of Maryland Baltimore County. She is certified in health care compliance and health care privacy compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). In addition to HCCA, Rock is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the National Association of Health Services Executives. She also serves on the Wolters Kluwer Health Care Compliance Professional Manual editorial board as well as the Samford University Cumberland School of Law Health Law and Policy advisory board.
