Brad Kennedy

Brad Kennedy assumed the role of president of Encompass Health’s south central region on Jan. 1, 2019, after serving as a vice president in Encompass Health’s central region since May 2016. In his role, he oversees operations for the Company’s hospitals located in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and South Dakota. Kennedy served as CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Memphis, a partner of Methodist Healthcare, and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cincinnati prior to moving into his regional roles. From January 2005 to April 2010, he served as director of rehabilitation services at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp. Kennedy received a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.
