Encompass Health has opened another hospital in Florida, an area the company is increasingly expanding into due to a high population of retirees in the state.
The hospital, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clermont, is a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located at 2901 State Road 50. The hospital serves patients recovering from debilitating illnesses and injuries including strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions.
In addition to 24-hour nursing care, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clermont offers physical, occupational and speech therapies. Care is provided by specialized nurses, therapists and physicians. The hospital features all private patient rooms, a therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies and an activities of daily living suite, a therapy courtyard, a cafeteria and a dayroom.
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clermont is Encompass Health’s 157th inpatient rehabilitation hospital nationwide and its 20th inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Florida.
