Encompass Health of Greenville hospital leadership discusses signs of a stroke on World Stroke Day

Dr. Angelica Soberon-Cassar, medical director, and Chris Daughtry, director of therapy operations, at Encompass Health of Greenville recently joined Fox Carolina to discuss World Stroke Day and the importance of rehabilitation following a stroke. With approximately 795,000 people in the United States suffering from a stroke each year, according to the American Stroke Association, World Stroke Day is celebrated on October 29 to bring awareness to the serious nature of strokes and the alarming rates at which they occur.
