Kanika Govil joined Encompass Health in 2016. In 2017 she was given an opportunity to transition to PT Team Lead in one of the company’s Dallas hospitals. She worked in Dallas from 2017-2021 before moving to Canada. In 2023, Govil returned to Encompass Health as PT team lead at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Prosper where she is today.
Govile started her career as at outpatient setting in New York City. She has also worked in SNF, IRF and ILF before before joining Encompass Health.
Education: Master’s of physiotherapy in neurology in 2008. Assistant professor in medical college in India from 2008-2014.
Professional Association: Member of American Physical Therapy Association and is certified in lymphedema.
