Inclusion & Diversity Our people
Last updated:

Social injustices exist in our communities in a variety of forms, from racial discrimination to gender equality concerns and many more. At Encompass Health, we strive to provide a workplace environment where all employees feel included and supported because diversity of background and thought brings such value to our culture and company as a whole.

In the fourth episode of our I&D discussion series, Tony Hernandez, chief human resources officer, speaks with Renee Tyree, West regional pharmacy director for rehabilitation hospitals, about the importance of disability inclusion in America’s workforce. Though the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed 30 years ago, there is still progress to be made to provide appropriate opportunities and accommodations for people with disabilities.
