Encompass Health’s national network of more than 14,000 nurses lends credit to its ability to provide quality, compassionate care for patients and their families.

Empowering patient outcomes, rehabilitation nurses at Encompass Health see the patient as a whole, focusing on helping the patient and family participate in therapies they need to prepare for life after the hospital. These specialized nurses use technical skills and knowledge to manage the needs of medically complicated patients by treating patients affected by stroke, musculoskeletal/orthopedic disorders, traumatic brain injury, neurological impairment, spinal cord injury, pulmonary disorders and associated complications such as incontinence, sleep disorders and pain.

Encompass Health has more than 14,400 nurses in our national footprint, and more than 1,700 of them are certified rehabilitation registered nurses, demonstrating an even higher level of knowledge in their field.

While no two days are alike, our nurses are motivated by making a difference, and at Encompass Health, that difference is made during every shift, home visit and relationship built with patients.
