Encompass Health prices offering of its 4.625% senior notes due 2031

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Encompass Health Corporation (NYSE: EHC) today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of $400 million in aggregate principal amount of its 4.625% senior notes due 2031 at a public offering price of 100% of the principal amount. The Company will pay interest on the notes semi-annually in arrears on April 1 and October 1 of each year, beginning on April 1, 2021. The notes will be jointly and severally guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by all of its existing and future subsidiaries that guarantee borrowings under the Company’s credit agreement and other capital markets debt. This offering is expected to close on October 5, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering, together with available cash on hand, to fully redeem its 5.75% Senior Notes due 2024 at par.
