ARN and Encompass Health Corp. announce Institutional Membership to leverage each organization’s strengths in rehabilitation nursing

Press Release

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) and Encompass Health Corp. are excited to announce a new membership that enables Encompass Health to provide more ARN benefits to more Encompass Health rehabilitation nurses. Beginning in Q1 2020, a designated number of Encompass Health nurses will be provided ARN memberships, as well as attendance to the ARN Annual Conference, REACH 2020, in San Antonio, Oct. 21-24. This new membership provides Encompass Health staff additional benefits to partner with ARN onsite at its annual conference, deep discounts to ARN products and services and recognition in multiple marketing channels.

ARN Executive Director Gayle Irvin speaks highly of the commitment Encompass Health is making to ARN: “We are very enthusiastic about our new partnership with Encompass Health. Its involvement as a Platinum Level Institutional Member allows ARN to work more closely with Encompass Health rehabilitation nurses, and it provides extensive opportunities and benefits to all Encompass Health’s rehabilitation nursing staff. We are excited to pilot this opportunity with Encompass Health, as well as consider similar programs with additional healthcare facilities moving forward. This is a win-win for both organizations.”

“We are excited to further our relationship with ARN through this opportunity,” said Mary Ellen Hatch, vice president of nursing operations of Encompass Health and member of ARN’s Board of Directors. “As rehabilitation nurses, we are able to make a special impact on the lives of patients in extremely challenging moments in their lives. It’s truly rewarding to see our nurses grow professionally as they help patients make great strides and get back to their communities.”
