Patient Gwen Starkey is finally home from the hospital after over a year-long battle with COVID and spending more than 375 days in the hospital. Her family credits faith, determination, and dedicated medical teams at Kindred Hospital Northland and MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital for making Gwen’s return home possible. Gwen’s daughter April Shaver shared “To see what my mom has gone through and beaten and survived – and is doing as well as she is – it’s a miracle. It’s a great day.”
