Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Alabama recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its new location in Huntsville. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital has been a staple in the Huntsville community for over three decades, treating patients who are recovering from a major injury or illness and helping them return to a normal standard of living. The hospital is moving to a new location to serve more patients and will include 85 beds and employ more than 300 doctors, medical and technical staff.
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of North Alabama CEO Doug Beverly said, “We get to move to a state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital, specifically designed with our patients in mind so that we can continue to deploy the technologies we need to help get the outcomes for patients deserve.”
